This past Saturday, the Indiana Brewers Guild hosted the 21st Annual Indiana Microbrewer’s Festival in Military Park. The event featured hundreds of varieties of beer and supported the Indiana brewing community. The list of participants was vast and there was a pale ale, hefeweizen, stout, blonde, amber, and wheat for every palate. We were happy to serve as a Keg Sponsor this year along with Yelp, Indy Eleven, Sun King Brewing, and others.
It was the perfect summer day and Military Park was an ideal spot to find shade under a large tree between beer samples. There was live music, homemade beer themed t-shirts, and various pretzel necklaces. Some necklaces were especially creative and featured bagels, Slim Jims, and string cheese. Bazbeaux Pizza and Punch Burger were among the food offerings, which were necessary to complement the abundance of beer.
It was a fun day supporting many of our friends and local beer producers. We can’t wait to host this year’s Taste of Indiana in Military Park in just 26 days. We hope to see you there!
